Typically a quieter period for our technicians, this year was marked by a series of new challenges and prestigious collaborations that called upon our expertise and dedication.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"321\" data-end=\"356\">New Challenges and Partnerships<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"358\" data-end=\"558\">Our team faced a significant increase in demand, ranging from concert tunings to partial restorations and high-precision regulation work. Each project required careful planning and flawless execution.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"560\" data-end=\"600\">Montreal International Jazz Festival<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"602\" data-end=\"1109\">A major milestone of the summer was our collaboration with the Montreal International Jazz Festival. For the first time, PTM was entrusted with tuning the pianos in the halls of Place des Arts\u2014a new and highly prestigious client. This partnership represents recognition of our know-how and our ability to meet the demands of large-scale musical events. Precision and efficiency were essential to meet the tight timelines of summer productions. These commitments were complemented by requests from both new and long-standing clients, involving studio and home pianos alike.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 750px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-2324-1\" width=\"750\" height=\"1333\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/pianotechniquemontreal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/IMG_3984.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/pianotechniquemontreal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/IMG_3984.mp4\">https:\/\/pianotechniquemontreal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/IMG_3984.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<h3 data-start=\"1603\" data-end=\"1629\">Orford Musique Academy<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1631\" data-end=\"2046\">Another key partnership this summer, for the second consecutive year, was with Orford Musique. Renowned for its high-level teaching programs and concerts, Orford Musique relies on impeccably prepared instruments. Our technicians devoted many hours to carefully maintaining the condition of the pianos used by students, faculty, and guest artists, contributing to the success of the summer sessions and performances.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2048\" data-end=\"2082\">Vincent d\u2019Indy School of Music<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2084\" data-end=\"2486\">As the official provider for the Vincent d\u2019Indy School of Music, Piano Technique Montr\u00e9al customarily dedicates an entire week to regulating the concert pianos and most of the month of August to tuning the main instruments. This year, in addition to that routine, we also carried out a partial restoration of one of the teaching pianos\u2014a Kawai KG-1C that required new hammers, strings, and tuning pins.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2488\" data-end=\"2508\">A Dedicated Team<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2510\" data-end=\"3111\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">This exceptional summer would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the entire Piano Technique Montr\u00e9al team. Our technicians demonstrated outstanding flexibility and professionalism, rising to every challenge with skill and commitment. At times, this meant starting very early to prepare a piano before the arrival of technical crews, or completing a tuning swiftly in response to last-minute schedule changes.
